What a disaster! I don't remember where I read about this activity for toddlers but I thought it sounded interesting so we thought we'd try it out. Well, this toddler was so not ready for rice play! What a mess! Jackson just started throwing rice everywhere!! It was actually pretty funny. Now cleaning up rice that went all over the kitchen in every nook & cranny was a whole other story!

Valentine's Day Fun
On Valentine's Day Jackson & I went to the New Braunfels Children's Museum with his friends, Ellie Rae and Luke, and their mommy Angie. It was a very special day in that it was also Ellie Rae's third birthday! Wow, the NB museum was awesome! So much better than the Austin Children's Museum...in my opinion. As soon as we walked in the door Jackson immediately spotted an oar and took off with it, knocking and banging things & people along the way. Trying to take it away was not an option...he'd pitch a fit! So the minute he got distracted and put the oar down, I grabbed it and hid it! :) Bad mommy! After spending about 2 hours at the museum we headed to Chick-Fil-A for lunch and then back home to Kyle. We all had so much fun and we can't wait to go back!

So Behind! Part Two
Visit to Bryce's house
Back in mid-January, Jackson & I went over to visit Ann & Bryce. Jackson & Bryce hadn't hung out in a long time so this visit was long overdue. They had a great time!

At Home

This is Jackson's GloWorm. He sleeps with it during every nap time and at night. He loves it. Every time he sees it, he instantly puts his thumb in his mouth and gets ready for night-night.

I love, love, love this picture of my precious boy! I'm so sad that it came out blurry. He was on the go and headed straight towards me so I took it as fast as I could.
Visit to Graham's
Jackson hadn't seen his friend Graham in a while so we went over for a visit just recently. Graham shared his cool toys and showed off his mad crawling skills. We were very impressed!

Cozy Coupe Accident
In late January it had been pretty cold around these parts so we brought the Cozy Coupe inside for Jackson to play. All was going so well when all of a sudden Jackson slipped out of the bottom and was run over by his very own car. Getting run over seems to be a theme with the kid! Poor guy was so upset but mom & dad were bent over, dying with laughter!

Outside with Biso
Jackson loves his Great Grandpa (Biso) so much and always has so much fun with him. They had a great time together playing around outside one day.

Whew, that was a lot of updating!! So that was January. I'm hoping to not fall too far behind this month. Until next time!

I've been tagged!!
So my friend Amie has gotten me back on my 101 blog by tagging me. I posted this on my 101 blog but decided to share it here as well. I'm supposed to list 6 random things about myself. Okay, well here goes:
1. When I was little, I loved writing letters to different TV stars...Big Bird and Tina Yothers (from Family Ties) being the ones I wrote to most frequently. Tina Yothers apparently really liked what I wrote to her that she (well her management company anyway) awarded me an all expense paid trip to LA to meet her, spend time with her, go to a taping of the show, and meet the cast! Unfortunately, I never made it out there. I was too afraid to fly so I passed on the trip! Can you believe that!?!? She ended up sending me her book, her album, and lots of Family Ties stuff. She even called me and I was able to talk to her for a few minutes. I can't even remember anymore what we talked about! I wonder if she remembers me? The idiot little girl that didn't take her up on an all expense paid trip to LA!
2. I'm obsessed with celebrity reality shows! VH1 is the best!! My lineup includes Scott Baio is 46 and pregnant, My Fair Brady, Celebrity Rehab, and I've wandered over to CMT to catch Gone Country!
3. When I pump gas the dollar amount I've put in has to end in a zero or a five. For example, if it shows $31.22, I have to pump in just a tiny bit more to get it to $31.25. If I've gone over to say $31.26, well then I need to go up to $31.30. It MUST end in a zero or five or all is not well with the world!
4. I've never dyed my hair. Every single hair stylist I've ever been to has always asked me what color I dye my hair. I always say I don't it, it's natural. It's a perk of being a halfie (Mexican/white).
5. I absolutely HATE grocery shopping. I mean, really, really LOATHE it and I will avoid it at all costs!!!!!
6. I'm addicted to chapstick. I have chapstick tubes all over the place...in the bathroom, on my nightstand, in each of my diaper bags, in the kitchen, in my back pocket, in the laundry room, upstairs in Jackson's bathroom, in the car...I could go on & on.
So there you have it. 6 random things about ME!
